SPC Local Events Dates Calendar	Housing Needs Survey Meeting An open meeting will be held at the Memorial Hall on Tuesday 1st December 2009 to discuss the results of the housing need survey and answer any questions members of the community may have.

Mary Atherton Local Events Dates Calendar	2008 Annual village green clear-up Volunteers are sought for the annual maintenance and clear-up working party, starting on the village green at 10:30am. Refreshments will be provided to all those who lend a hand.
Mary Atherton Local Events Dates Calendar	Scruton Society Talk - Scruton in the 60s and 70s Trevor Howe will give the next instalment in his stories of the developmetn of Scruton.
Mary Atherton Local Events Dates Calendar	Scruton Society Talk - What I found in Auntie's drawers Anne Brown will give a short presentation of some of the artefacts found in "Auntie's drawers" and will bring some artefacts allong to illustrate her talk.
Anthony Wood Local Events Dates Calendar	Third annual village walk Starting and finishing at Scruton Cricket Club at 10:30am on Saturday 27th September. Guided route (with map) and treasure hunt. Refreshments will be provided at the finish from 12.00 p.m.
Local Events Dates Calendar	Parish council meetings Parish Council meetings are held every other month on the 2nd Thursday of the month at 19:40 in the Coore Memorial Hall. All are welcome to attend. Before each meeting is a 10 minute "surgery". If you have something you wish to raise at a meeting, please come to the village hall at 19:30 to meeting the councillors. You may also write to the parish council via its clerk.
Peter Williams Local Events Dates Calendar	Dance with Silver Street 7.30 p.m. on the Playing Field. Tickets £5 per person, pre-bookable via Peter Williams on 748670 or Dave Pearson on 748419. Anthony Wood Local Events Dates Calendar	Farewell party for retiring vicar To mark the occasion of the Vicar’s retirement, the Church Council invites anyone wishing to bid farewell to John & Jean Wilson to a drinks evening at 7pm in the Village Hall.
