Noticeboards
Parish Council noticeboards are located at the village hall and on the village green. A public-access noticeboard is located in the bus shelter opposite Pittfields Corner.
Scruton Information Signboard
A ‘Thankful Village’ signboard located on the village green near the Church, tells the story of Scruton from its ancient origins through to it becoming a Thankful Village.
Horse Droppings
Chris Barron has asked for this notice to go out having received some complaints about horse droppings in the footpaths between Common Lane and Beech Close
Wensleydale Railway Re-Opens
Wensleydale Railway is reopening services between Bedale and Scruton, via Leeming Bar, commencing on Saturday 29 May.
Ham Hall Lane Closure
Ham Hall Lane will be closed from 10th to 14th May for repairs to the cattle grid.

Farming News – May 2021
Well, we wanted the rain to stop and we got what we wanted. The rain stopped at the perfect time, allowing all the spring crops to be sown with relative ease.
