Sky at Night – November 2023

by Graham Dodds

Watch out for the Leonid Meteor Shower throughout most of November (at its peak on the 18 Nov) between midnight and dawn, with a ‘promise’ of 10 meteors per hour. They should be visible in most parts of the night sky, although a wide-open space is best for viewing.

Also, lookout for a full Moon on 27 November, known as the Beaver Moon, Frost Moon or Mourning Moon.
