Allotments BBQ & Potato ‘Weigh-in’

The Allotment Association ended the growing season with a BBQ and official ‘weigh in’ of the potato competition (for the heaviest crop resulting from growing one potato in a bag). Weights ranged from 0.02 kg to 1.94kg but the young gardeners did well but 1st and 2nd places went to Chris Snell with 1.94kg and Janice Powell at 1.82kg. Thank you to everyone who took part.
