The Parish Council now have responsibility for keeping the Defibrillator (located outside the Coore Arms) in a state of readiness. Each time the Defibrillator is used, the pads are disposed of by the attending Ambulance and the Parish Council will fit new pads and keep a spare set so that the Defibrillator is always ready for use. Replacement pads cost £65 and batteries are £235 (every 4 years).

If you are interested in training to use the Defibrillator please get in touch with the Parish Council. Training in North Yorkshire will not be available before December, and if there is a high demand the Parish Council will arrange for several sessions.
