Red Arrows soar above Leeming & Scruton in a spectacular farewell tribute to RAF 100 Squadron

The flypast, which took place at 2:05 pm on 24 March, was to bid farewell to 100 Squadron which is to be disbanded on 31 March 2022. RAF 100 Squadron, which fly Hawk T1 aircraft, was formed in 1917 and moved to Leeming in 1995. Their badge was approved by King George VI and bears the motto, ‘Never stir up a hornet’s nest’.
