Scruton resident’s success at Land Sailing

Martin Leach along with 2 other members of York Landyacht Club proved their credentials as the premier miniyacht club in Britain. They joined the British Team at the European Championships on the island of Romo in Denmark during June and gained Team Silver for Great Britain! Martin said: “The combined age of the top 3 Brits was 204 years! …but we have no plans to retire yet.” Martin followed up his European success by gaining 3rd place in the British Championship Series 2018-19.
