Noticeboards
Parish Council noticeboards are located at the village hall and on the village green. A public-access noticeboard is located in the bus shelter opposite Pittfields Corner.
Scruton Information Signboard
A ‘Thankful Village’ signboard located on the village green near the Church, tells the story of Scruton from its ancient origins through to it becoming a Thankful Village.

Yorkshire Water Debacle
As SPC received no response from Yorkshire Water about the hole in Station Road, NYCC Councillor Annabel Wilkinson was asked to intercede on Scruton’s behalf.
Nature Notes – August 2022
Graham Bourne recently complained that he had ‘mole problems’ in his lawn. Sure enough there were the tell tale mole hills.
Scruton Air Show 2022
Scruton would like to thank the RAF for the marvellous aerobatic display from the Red Arrows and the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight.
Bats in the Belfry
Dave Long will be carrying out a bat survey at St Radegund’s Church during the week 8 – 14 August.
